General Questions
Learning difficulties describe specific challenges in acquiring and using certain skills, such as reading, writing, listening, speaking, reasoning, or math. Common conditions include:
• ADHD: Impulsivity, hyperactivity, and trouble focusing.
• Autism/ASD: Difficulties with social interaction, communication, and adapting to change.
• Dyslexia: Struggles with reading, writing, and sequencing tasks, often extending to other areas like math or additional languages.
These challenges result from differences in how the brain processes information and do not necessarily reflect a low IQ. Many children with learning difficulties have average or above-average intelligence but require tailored support to thrive.
Parents who suspect learning difficulties should seek a professional diagnosis. However, common signs include:
• Poor academic results.
• Difficulty focusing on schoolwork.
• Low self-esteem.
• Frequent changes in tutors.

Although we specialize in special needs, our programs align with the MOE curriculum to support children in mainstream education. We adhere to MOE standards and follow the syllabus to ensure consistency with mainstream schools.
An initial assessment helps us determine your child’s academic proficiency. Preschoolers undergo a tailored written test, while primary students complete a computer-based assessment used by schools worldwide. This process evaluates foundational strengths and identifies areas for improvement, guiding our personalized program recommendations.
We offer academic support in English, Mathematics, and Science for preschool, primary, and secondary levels. Our specialized programs also address Reading, Writing, and Spelling challenges. Visit our Programs page for details.
Specialized Programs
Since 2009, 90% of our students have successfully passed PSLE and advanced to secondary school, with some achieving a 300% grade improvement. Our success lies in customizing coaching methods for each child. Most students show measurable progress within 3 to 6 months, tracked against our Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
The recommended frequency depends on your child’s assessment results:
• Remedial: At least 3-4 sessions weekly for children significantly behind peers.
• Prevention: 3 sessions weekly for children showing mild delays.
• Support: 1-2 sessions weekly for children gaining independence but still needing monitoring.
Each session is designed to keep learning engaging and focused.
Our center offers a professionally designed, conducive environment for learning. However, we also provide home-based coaching for families needing flexible arrangements.
• Speech Therapy: Covers a broad range of speech and language challenges across all ages.
• Communication Training: Focuses on children aged 4–12, enhancing skills in reading, writing, spelling, and social communication, boosting confidence in daily interactions.
